Wedding or Vow Renewal Ceremony – from £625

Our initial meeting, either in person or over Zoom, is free and no obligation. This is simply a chance for us to get to know each other and see if it feels like a good fit. We talk through the planning process, and I can answer any questions you might have about having a humanist ceremony.

After this, when the booking is confirmed, my package includes:

  • A face-to-face meeting (or shorter meetings over Zoom if this is more convenient) where I learn all about you and your story, as well as your ideas for your perfect ceremony
  • Ongoing support and contact to discuss ideas for music, readings, symbolic gestures, and anything else
  • Advice and support for writing wedding vows, naming ceremony promises, or other contributions
  • A first draft of your bespoke ceremony script, and ongoing edits to ensure it is perfect
  • Co-ordination of contributions from others such as readings and music (before or on the day)
  • Delivery of the ceremony on the day
  • Presentation copy of the script following the ceremony as a keepsake

The main fee includes travel within 20 miles of my home with additional mileage charged at 50p per mile – calculated using Google Maps.

I have not included rehearsals in my package as these are often not needed, and I include stage directions in the script so we can all know where we need to be and when! My job on the day is to guide you through the ceremony and help you to feel at ease. However, I’m happy to arrange a rehearsal should this be needed. The cost of a rehearsal is £75 with mileage costs if applicable.
